August 13 Sturgeon Fishing Report
The White Sturgeon fishing has been equal with the weather recently, as in very nice. Fishing over the past week has consistently resulted in plenty of large White Sturgeon being caught and released after a quick photo session in the shallows. Sturgeon fishing in BC requires all fish to be handled with extreme care and a 100% catch & release policy has been in place since 1994. Some fish swim away slowly and others are so frisky that getting a still photo is difficult to achieve and once in a while impossible. Thankfully we do have a few pics you can view in this post. Very big Sturgeon are in the Fraser river right now and they are hungry. If you’re looking to battle foul tempered powerful fish then this is the place!
