Steelhead Fishing is available:
- January to April on local rivers within 1 hour from Vancouver
Steelhead fishing trips available January to late April
on the Squamish or Chilliwack-Vedder River 60 minutes from Vancouver
These walk n wade trips provide you the opportunity to search and hopefully hook up with Steelhead on these 2 scenic free flowing rivers. The Squamish is for fly fishing enthusiasts and has plenty of room for back casting or spey. The structure of the Chilliwack River is full of classic style runs and boulder pocket water. This is more suited for float fishing but fly works here too. Covering water is essential on either river so we recommend that you be in decent shape.
