Fly Fishers Love Vancouver BC's awesome rivers!
I was attending a conference in Vancouver and a buddy talked me into going on an impromptu fishing trip with Brian our guide from Silversides Fishing. I was completely unprepared to go fishing, but Brian said no worries, that he could outfit me – and he did. Unbelievable “catching” day, with multiple Chum hookups for both Zack and myself, with a number at 20 lbs. So needless to say, quite the experience.
J Mohlerm – Nevada, USA
Had a successful day on the Squamish river hooking into and landing multiple Bull Trout. Brian put us right where we needed to be. I was impressed with his ability to read the river and know right where there would be fish. An adventure shared by an amateur myself and an absolute rookie who was able to hook into and catch her own fish with Brian’s guidance. I highly suggest fly fishing with Silversides Fishing for unforgettable scenery and great fishing to match.
Tyler G – Minnesota, USA
Great day was had fishing for Pinks on the Squamish river in BC. Brian picked up from downtown Vancouver, provided lunch, all the gear along with photography through out the day of me casting and catching, with the all important trophy shot of my biggest fish. At the end of the day Brian drove back along the scenic route 99 and got me safely back to Vancouver. Great scenery, awesome fishing, those Pinks pull your arm off! 10/10 so good I’ve rebooked a return trip.
Mark Perry – United Kingdom
The whole day was marvellous! Not only did we catch Pink salmon, the walk in to the river was beautiful (although a bit strenuous because we are old!). The place we were taken to was unbelievable; the Squamish river at her finest! We give the experience an A+.
Bellyboat – Vancouver, Canada
An excellent “walk and wade” day – fly fishing on the Squamish. I took 10 very very fresh Chum, boy these fish fight!! My guide (Alex) was really excellent, very knowledgeable, a great teacher and very patient… and great fun.
Richard F – United Kingdom
My brother and I fished for Salmon with Brian last year and it was awesome. We enjoyed his service so much we just finished a 5 day fly fishing adventure with him on the Fraser river valley. I can’t count how many Coho Brian got me and my brother Scott into this year – it was crazy good. All very high quality Chrome fish – All I can say is wow! Brian has exceptional ability to know where the fish are and exactly how to land them. We also had the pleasure to fish for Sturgeon with Brian and he got me and brother into several high quality fish including a 6 + foot whale of a Sturgeon which is the biggest fish I’ve landed to date.
Cheers, Jeff Cooper

Salmon fly fishing in the Fraser River Valley
Our Jet Boats are required for all Fraser Valley Salmon trips
Pursue wild Pacific Salmon on the Fraser River and it's many productive tributaries such as the Harrison, Stave, Vedder & Nicomen
Swing your fly in front of thousands of migrating Chum, Coho, Chinook & Pink Salmon as they return from the ocean to start the spawning cycle. We only target the fresh ones. We won't put you on top of beat up spawners. Access is by our custom jet boats that depart from Mission or the Harrison River boat launch.
Chums, Coho & Pink salmon are perfect for fly fishing due to their aggressive behaviour. They fight like crazy and will certainly burn your arms with their relentless stamina! Catches of dozens per rod each day are common.
Most Salmon can be caught with our single hand rods or your own double hand/spey or switch rods. 8 – 10 weights are perfect and essential.
We always supply our own custom tied flies.
We also provide Fraser River multi day fly fishing packages with lodging.
