Brian established Silversides in 1996 after working for a few years at some of BC’s finest coastal fly-in Salmon resorts such as Ole’s Hakaii Pass, Rivers Inlet Lodge and West Coast Resorts. He is an avid outdoors person with a particular interest in sport fishing and lately outdoor writing. Brian runs a 21 foot Customweld ‘Storm’ jet boat powered with a 5.7L V8. Brian fishes and guides for just about everything in this part of BC. That includes White Sturgeon, Salmon, Steelhead and Trout. He has fished a lot of waters in BC. Throughout the Fraser River Valley and Vancouver area he has extensively fished the Squamish, Fraser, Chilliwack/Vedder, Harrison, Chehalis rivers plus quite a bit on the ocean too. On his spare time he really enjoys sitting in a float tube pursuing Rainbow Trout on BC’s interior lakes.
