Sturgeon fishing over the past week:
Fraser river Sturgeon behaviour plays a key role in success rates and over the past week we saw a shift in this. Sturgeon had moved and feeding patterns were off in some areas. Lots of boats on the river in the Mission area were struggling. Guys fishing further up by Chilliwack were doing much better for a change. All our trips over the long weekend caught nice fish, just not lots of them as we have been used to this year. Sturgeon fishing will get very good again, it always does. We anticipate that by weeks end the fishing in the Mission area will be excellent as more Salmon enter the river. We are after all, heading in to peak season.
