I was attending a conference in Vancouver and a buddy talked me into going on an impromptu fishing trip with Brian our guide from Silversides Fishing. I was completely unprepared to go fishing, but Brian said no worries, that he could outfit me – and he did. Unbelievable “catching” day, with multiple Chum hookups for both Zack and myself, with a number at 20 lbs. So needless to say, quite the experience.

Great day was had fishing for Pinks on the Squamish river in BC. Brian picked up from downtown Vancouver, provided lunch, all the gear along with photography through out the day of me casting and catching, with the all important trophy shot of my biggest fish. At the end of the day Brian drove back along the scenic route 99 and got me safely back to Vancouver. Great scenery, awesome fishing, those Pinks pull your arm off! 10/10 so good I’ve rebooked a return trip.

The whole day was marvellous! Not only did we catch Pink salmon, the walk in to the river was beautiful (although a bit strenuous because we are old!). The place we were taken to was unbelievable; the Squamish river at her finest! We give the experience an A+.

We had a fantastic time fishing at Silversides with Brian. Our boys caught several fish each and 3 being 6′ plus. Also had numerous hits throughout the day which kept things exciting. Brian is a knowledgeable fisherman and is focused on putting you on Sturgeon. His instructions were great as we had never been for sturgeons. The boat is comfortable and clean. Also, The room accommodations at the Mission Best Western were very nice. Close to dock with plenty of places to eat close to site. Thanks also to Louise for making it easy to arrange and answering all my questions in the months prior to the trip.

Our Family had a great time with Brian and Silversides. We highly recommend chartering with them. We will go back again soon!

I fished with Silversides on Oct 12/2018. My guide Jason was the best fishing guide I have ever had. We started by catching some Chum Salmon for bait. I didn’t think the day could get much better than landing these 15 pounders until be had a female. Then we were after Sturgeon. No more than 15 minutes and we had a 4 footer. My day would have been complete with this but it was still only 9.30 am. The day finished with a 6 ft, sturgeon and finalized with a 6 ft. 10 in monster (measured). On April 2nd, 2018 our group of 3 went White Sturgeon fishing with Silversides Fishing Adventures. In two hours we had 6 sturgeon. Our total for the day was 10. Our guide Brian was excellent and very knowledgeable. He put us on the fish. The boat and gear was excellent. We would highly recommend Silversides Fishing Adventures!
