Excellent Salmon Fishing as usual for mid November
Going into our 21st season of guiding for Salmon on all the local rivers in Vancouver BC and the Fraser River Valley we are happy to report that salmon fishing is ‘as usual’ for the second week of November. This really means that it’s great and well worth booking a guided Salmon fishing charter! November is the time for excellent Chum Salmon & Coho Salmon fishing. And YES we do provide guided Fly Fishing too.
FYI: Excellent Sturgeon Fishing is always going on during our salmon runs!
Fresh Chum Salmon are here!
The salmon fishing season is going into the final push of the year for local rivers but as usual the final push is one of the best times for productivity and quality fish. Angler pressure is way down which means there’s more water for you. The weather turns a lot of people away who can’t get it out of their mind that fishing and T-shirt weather somehow provides the only good fishing. FALSE! Salmon require rain and flowing rivers for successful spawning and safe travel. This is also their time of year to return and thus they are here. They are also very aggressive right now. With our mastery of locations and what to use we are confident you’ll be fighting many salmon throughout the day.
Fresh ocean bright Salmon are being caught every day right now on our fully guided charters. November is the season for Chum and Coho Salmon. As I write this our guests from Alberta are dealing with some beauty Coho Salmon they caught today. They’ll get more tomorrow and end up going home with a nice haul.
When is the freshwater Salmon season done?
As in years past we have had wicked salmon fishing days right up to the very end of November. Weather permitting of course. Rain is never a issue with our covered and heated jet boats but instead the problem would be if Old Man Winter decides to dump snow on us and shut down the boat launch. In such a case we would gladly refund 100% of your money.

Even the kids asked for seconds!
