Fall Fishing in the Fraser River Valley
Our guided fishing in November offers extremely productive Chum Salmon and White Sturgeon fishing. And Coho Salmon too. You’ll experience some of the best fishing of the year plus all the gorgeous colours and scenery that Autumn offers here in the Fraser River Valley. You will also see lots of Bald Eagles that take advantage of the huge salmon runs!
The shoreline of the Fraser River in the Fall is alive with colours
As I write this one of our Sturgeon fishing guides is out on the Fraser River with one of our regulars from England. They are hooking into lots of 8 footers! Yesterday I was Chum Salmon fishing on the Stave River near Mission, BC and did very well for ocean fresh salmon. The tell tale sign of a ‘ocean fresh’ Chum is the sea lice on them. A few sea lice on a returning adult salmon means a good healthy salmon with firm flesh. We’ll be enjoying lots of smoked Chum Salmon this winter and perhaps a few BBQ’s too.
Plenty of Chum Salmon for November 2017
Chum Salmon numbers are very strong this year! Chum’s are the late run salmon and the hard fighters. They are available in good numbers right up until late November.
Our expertise in getting fresh table quality Chum salmon to bite is second to none. We will NEVER put you on top of old spawners! Book soon to take advantage of this fun, productive fishery. There’s a contact form below.
