What does this mean for our charter guests?
Lots and lots of hookups with tough fighting Chum Salmon for everyone. We have seen many of our clients hooking up with up to 50 Chum salmon each per day. Chums are solid scrappers and if you tie into that many in a day your arms are going to feel it. But hey, isn’t that what you want? Each angler can keep 2 Chum salmon per day. A fresh Chum makes excellent smoked salmon. We recommend smoking the fresh sea liced males. The meat quality is good and very firm.

When is the Chum Salmon run over?
Usually we can have very good Chum Salmon fishing from early October right to the very end of November. With this huge return for 2016 we anticipate this to be true for this year. The late run is well known for being great fishing for scrappy fish in excellent condition. We recommend booking ASAP to ensure your dates.
