“Simply Amazing!”

Simply amazing only begins to describe a fishing trip of a life time. First class pick up and drop off to and from the airport and the hotel. Then theirs the fishing. Oh my god its out of this world. Dave and myself said before the trip just catching a sturgeon would be great but to catch a hundred pounder each would be awesome. At the end of day one we had both smashed it with fish to 280lb! In 6 days we had 16 fish with only 3 under a 100 lb, 6 over 200 lb and the biggest an amazing 375 lb! The guides Brian and Mike were some of the best guides I’ve ever come across. A huge thank you to Brian Mike and Louise. You run a first class outfit.

The Advantage of Sturgeon Fishing in Mission BC: we fish from lower Chilliwack to Maple Ridge/Fort Langley where this 40 km stretch of the Fraser River has the best and most habitat for large feeding White Sturgeon. This is where you will experience encounters with those fresh 'Ocean fish' that are full of "piss and vinegar". These virgin fish have not been worn out by the repeated hookups of upstream anglers and thus provide stellar energetic battles that test the will of even the toughest anglers of the world!

What you will catch: Our Fraser River White Sturgeon catches are usually in the 5 to 8 foot range(60 - 300 lbs) but we do hook into fish over 11 & 12 feet(800 - 1000 lbs) every year! Sometimes even bigger.

Success Rates: 99% plus on single day, 100% on multi day. Typically we hook into about 6 fish per trip but during extreme peak times the action is non stop all day.

The Incredible battles: Fraser River White Sturgeon are known for insane battles that involve tail walking jumps and reel screaming runs sometimes over 300 meters.

We have heard it over and over from our guests and international film crews who have fished for Marlin, Mako Shark, Tuna, Tarpon and so on. They say that no other fish fights like our White Sturgeon and they rely on us to produce results.

Imagine a Sturgeon over 800 pounds flying out of the water shortly after being hooked then screaming 300 meters of line off the reel. We have seen this! Now you’ve got some work to do!! Your guide pulls anchor, fires up the engine and you are following that fish so you don’t get spooled. This battle could take hours. Better bring a friend or two to help out!

Owner/Operator & Head Guide

I’m Brian Mack the owner/operator and head guide of Silversides Fishing Adventures.
A deep enthusiasm for sport fishing and working in the tourism field led me to form our company back in 1996. Our joy comes from helping our vast clientel pursue and record their best angling experiences!

I started fishing when I was a kid but really got going when I was in my early 20’s(30 yrs ago). I have fished the Fraser River since the mid 80’s. One of my driving principles in running our business is best described as borderline perfectionist. Many of our clients and my close friends have described me as being methodical. This is how my dad taught me to move through life. To never accept the old adage “that’s good enough”. That’s why I am driven to provide something much better than standard. These are the expectations and requirements of all our team members.

For this reason I guarantee that we will always strive to provide the finest service and fishing results all the way through your stay with us.

We target BIG Sturgeon with big fish baits. Forget about the ‘chicken holes’. Our clients average sizes for Fraser River Sturgeon are 5 to 8 feet but goliaths of 1,000 lbs or 500kg plus are encountered every year.

Worried about catching 1 fish? This is rare. Hooking 6–10 White Sturgeon per day is normal. Groups going on a multi day package will experience 100% SUCCESS Rates!
